pyrex-mode software package provides emacs-lisp pyrex-mode for pyrex, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install pyrex-mode
pyrex-mode is installed in your system.
Make ensure the pyrex-mode package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pyrex-mode *
You will get with pyrex-mode package name, version, architecture and description in a table
